What is fruit wine and what could it become? How could the unique qualities of everything that grows and thrives right here be elevated and highlighted? These are the questions that triggered founder Camilla Aasen to start exploring and discovering a path that has now lead to Vestavin and Vingarden på Jølst - the Jølster fruitvineyard. Here Vestavin is transforming West Norwegian fruits, berries and more to unique fruit wines in modern wine styles, while simultaneously transforming a derelict farm into a unique fruitvineyard.
Open farm shop throughout the year
Throughout the year, the farm shop is open on Thursdays from 4 pm to 6 pm. There are also concerts and other events. During the summer season the vineyard is open several days a week with guided tours and tastings every day. Whether in summer or winter, groups can always book a private experience at Vingarden på Jølst.
Private experiences
Private experiences can include a tour and tasting, a meal and a farmstay with simple accommodation.
