At Vingarden på Jølst Camilla Aasen, the founder of Vestavin, is working to transform West Norwegian berries, fruits and flowers to fruit wines that suit the modern palate, transforming an old, abandoned farm into a unique fruitvineyard in the process.

Throughout the year, Vingarden på Jølst is open to group bookings by request, where groups of friends, colleagues and near or distant relatives can experience a fruitvineyard in the making.

Practicalities:

A standard tour and tasting lasts for about 1,5 hours and includes four tasting samples of fruit wines from Vestavin or non-alcoholic beverages from Vesle Lerka, along with small bites that complement the beverages. The farm shop will be open.

The cozy sitting room can accomodate up to 25 people, and the parlour across the hallway can accomodate 14. During the summer season the barn, dating back to 1899, can provide a unique atmosphere for up to 80 people.

Pricing

The minimum price for a standard tour and tasting for up to 12 people is NOK 5500, and NOK 490 per person for groups of 13-25. Pricing on request for larger groups and customised experiences.
