Tour description

The first part of the hike is up a steep and winding cart track. This is actually an old construction road that Lyse Kraft built when they laid power lines across Uburen. Gradually, the landscape opens up and the cart track becomes a clear path. After passing the power lines that span Høgsfjorden, you reach the 440 metre high summit. Just below you are Forsand, Høgsfjorden and the Lysefjord estuary. On a clear day, you can see both Kvitsøy and Karmøy in the distance. Take the same route back.
