The history of power production in the Ryfylke region has left one of the biggest impressions in the history books. It is also a region with spectacular nature experiences, such as the Flørli stairs, the incredible mines in Allmannajuvet gorge in Sauda, and various beautiful trips into the Ryfylkeheiene moors and Setesdal from Suldal. Flørli

The roadless village of Flørli offers some amazing experiences in nature. You can climb the 4,444 stairs up the world's longest wooden staircase, which overlooks the stunning Lysefjord. Sauda

Sauda is situated in the Ryfylke region, and its history stretches back to the last Ice Age, when the first people set foot in the area.
