The exhibition comprises a number of interactive games and activities that let children actively participate. Outside the Aquaculture Centre is a small aquarium where children can explore the sea life at Røvær.

Lothestranda and Grønasvika are popular swimming spots at Røvær and are also excellent places for catching crabs. There are tables, barbecues, a lean-to shelter, a beach volleyball court and toilet facilities at Lothestranda beach.
