Join Indrefjord Gard and live the dream of being a cowboy – free, brave, and at one with nature.

Wild West Experience

During the grazing season, Indrefjord Gard uses the horses actively in daily life for herding, supervision, and moving livestock. Here, you can experience the bellowing of cattle, friendly horses, and the sense of accomplishment from horseback riding.

The tour starts at the farm, where you prepare and get acquainted with your horse before herding dairy cows to pasture in the morning. After a few hours, the ride continues through challenging terrain to find the herd in the grazing fields. There is regular rotation and gathering of parts of the herd due to calving dates throughout the summer. The tour ends around a campfire for those who wish to join.

Who is this tour suitable for?
